Take Care Of Yourself Hun!

In the world we live in ,it's understandable to get caught up with everything and everyone else. We work,we make time for friends and family and even when we're alone still stay occupied with something (e.g. eyes glued phones, or overthinking).
Genuine happiness is achieved when we give ourselves the chance to do what we really want - which doesn't happen often. There should be a balance in our lifestyles. A sense of TLC for our physical appearance, spirituality mental state should be very much apart of our routines. Here are some ways to make yourself your priority again.

Sometimes we are under the impression that we need money and a whole lot of time to truly focus on ourselves. Well it's only an illusion ... the simple things matter most.
“I don't remember the last time I took a day off .”
Too many times we hear 'take care of yourself' and blah blah blah. We even say to each other 'take care' when we say goodbye ,but we fail to believe it ....crazy right?
Think of it like this, happiness is plant that needs to be sown, given what it needs and time for it to grow. Now I am aware of how cliche that may seem but honestly it works. For me, it's a reminder that if my happiness and self care is neglected, such as a plant, it will die over time and become lifeless.
STARTING TO UNDERSTAND?
It begins with knowing your self worth.Honestly speaking you're too good not to love and treat yourself. Think about the areas about your self-care regiment that lack the attention it deserves and prioritise it. Write it down for that matter, to help you realise what you need to get better at doing.
It doesn't have to be expensive when you take care of your self, it just has to be fulfilling and contributing to your personal growth.
Not only that but self care is more than caring about your physical appearance. Get your nails done, try a different hairstyle , start your fitness journey- they are all great but its still easy to not feel yourself even when you are doing all of that.What I'm trying to say is the most successful self-care comes from within (checking how you feel, considering your emotions, what impacts you, self reflecting etc). To do this you could book yourself a check up appointment at the doctors, see a therapist, pray/mediate which are all activities that goes a little bit deeper than what other people might see.
It is a decision YOU need to make. Do you want to keep running around for things and have little time to yourself -is it worth not paying any attention to yourself ?
