Hey, it feels as if we haven't touched base in a while- how are you? This week has been very productive although a little bit stressful. I'm glad that I've put in the work but now I need to give myself time to relax and ease my racing mind haha. Sit back and enjoy the written ramble of this week but more importantly the valuable tips and lessons I picked up along the way...
Deadline: the latest time or date by which something should be completed.
Ugh, school work -I've had quite a lot of deadlines set this week. I'm in the sixth form if you didn't know. Part of the stress was my poor time management and procrastination from last week (hence no blog) but oh well it is what it is. I realised the hardest part is starting, the second hurdle is to carry on. The hidden truth is the mindset. It determines how much you get done. You can either dread or address the task.
Expectation: a strong belief that something will happen or be the case.
I'm learning especially from this week to manage high expectations. There is a huge difference between high and unrealistic expectations. When it's out of my control' and yet on my aim high list this I get disappointed. After evaluation of this situation: I am leaving room for acceptance of any of the expectations that aren't practical.
Ambition: a strong desire to do or achieve something.
I had an adrenaline rush of creativity a couple of nights ago, even I was struggling to handle it all. Ambition is a trait. I've learned not to be ashamed of aspiring high especially well beyond what others think I can achieve. The truth is ambition is a bold step and that is how we succeed. Although I need to practice patience by taking things slow - I'm so hopeful/excited for where I'm heading. Whatever your life carve's out put energy towards what fulfils you most. The lockdown is easing, a new dawn of changes, take your ambition in stride and just go with it.
Thank you for reading this blog - I appreciate it. Remember do what makes you happy and aim high. Comment below what you've learned from this past week and what your intentions are for the next.
Until Next Time... Ludel
